If the kids are keen to try jet ski hire, we have a purpose built jet ski circuit, providing a safe environment for beginners to learn to ride or for more experience riders, they can go full throttle! If they are 16 they don’t need a parent on board the jet ski. With no licence required or special skill to drive a jet ski, this would be an amazing adventure for the kids, no matter what age.
If you are wanting to extend the jet ski experience, our jet ski island safari package can also see the kids and the family taking in the beauty of local islands whilst jet skiing, including the local flora and fauna with perhaps a few amazing sea creatures on the way.
Do you have a kid 8 years or older who is after more chill than thrill? Parasailing is such an awesome and exhilarating experience for any person of any age. More sedate that jet skiing but still a truly breathtaking activity, parasailing will have them gliding high in the sky, with 360 degree views, looking down at our beautiful Gold Coast waterways. We have tandem parasailing flights available for kids who would feel more confident with a parent on board.
For kids who are truly adventurous and 12 years or older, Gold Coast Watersports have just the thing! They can test their skill and agility with fly board extreme. This diving, flying, power house of pure heart-pounding fun will excite and thrill with jet ski propulsion right under their feet! Our experienced instructors will take them through the basic manoeuvres of fly board extreme and should have them up and out of the water, showing off in 10 mins!
